Udurawana to the rescue ...

Nobel prize

Uduravana's friend is driving down the Kandy road, when he spotsUduravana standing in the middle of a huge field of grass. He pulls the car over to the side of the road and notices that Udurawana is juststanding there, doing nothing, looking at nothing. Uduravana's friend gets out of the car, walks all the way out to Udurawanaand asks him, "Excuse me, what are you doing?" Udurawana replies, "I'm trying to win a Nobel Prize." "How?" asks hisfriend, puzzled. "Well I heard they give the Noble Prize to peoplewho are out standing in their field."

Jurassic Park Once

Uduravana went to see Jurassic Park and when the Dinosaurs startapproaching he was covering in his seat. So his friend asks him "Whatis this Uduravana? Are you afraid of the cinema?" Uduravana replies "I am an intelligent man, I know it is a movie,but does that animal know?"

Mileage problem

Uduravana had an old car which had run for over a 1,00,000 kilometres. He wanted to sell it, but was not getting a good price because of its excess mileage. He approached a friend of his andasked for help. He gave him an address in Colombo and askedhim to visit a mechanic there. The mechanic would adjust the meter so that it shows only 30,000 kilometres. Uduravana thanked him and left for Colombo. For a few days, his friend didn't see Uduravana. He assumed thatUduravana would have sold the car. A few weeks later, Uduravana came to see his friend in the same car. His friend was surprisedand asked - "W hat happened? Why have you not sold your caryet?" Uduravana replied - "Why should I? It has run for only 30,000 kilometres."

Twins

Once, in a village in Kandy, there lived two identical brothers. They looked very much alike in every respect and the villagers often had trouble distinguishing between them. Unfortunately, one of themdied. Uduravana, our hero, decided to visit the grief-stricken familyand console them. Now, there was a problem. Uduravana was not sure which of the brothers had died. Our ever-resourceful hero solved theproblem ingeniously. He walked up to the surviving sibling and asked amidst tears "Is it you who is dead or is it your Brother ?"
